The Nissim Cohen-Nissen office was founded in 1996 by attorneys Zohar Nissim and Mordechai Cohen-Nissen, who have about 20 years of experience in the legal profession.
Our firm is one of the leading firms in the Haifa region and the north and provides a broad and comprehensive legal service in a variety of legal fields, including: civil-commercial law, commercial litigation, torts, contracts, taxes (including civil and criminal proceedings), local government law, tender law, labor law, real estate (including expropriations, planning and construction), execution and collection, bank notes, receivership and bankruptcies, banking claims, family, wills and inheritances, class actions, preparation of legal opinions, including ongoing support of government companies, municipal corporations, associations and private companies and more.
Our office regularly engages in litigation in all judicial and quasi-judicial courts and in all courts throughout the country, including in the various committees of the State of Israel (for example, the National Insurance Institute). Our office has an average of hundreds of appearances per month, including preliminary proceedings, proofs, appeals and petitions.
Also, our office has a department for managing collection cases in very large volumes and enforcement cases. Our office offers its clients a comprehensive and broad service in the field of collection and execution, in both small and large volumes. Our service is focused, among other things, on the administrative collection activity which requires rich knowledge and many years of experience, dynamic, strenuous and daily work, together with litigation services in all courts and enforcement agencies all over the country.
Throughout twenty years of work, the firm has accumulated a wide and loyal clientele, including: corporations and large government companies, leading business organizations, large companies in the field of trade, legal and municipal bodies and local authorities.
Our office is located in Haifa and consists of a team of experienced and skilled lawyers and management. The office has 9 permanent lawyers, 3 interns and pre-interns and 25 secretaries and permanent administrative staff (including IT staff and HTLPA clerks) who accompany the office in its legal work.
It goes without saying that part of the office’s current work is done in foreign languages, including English, Arabic and Russian, which are familiar to the lawyers in our office and help in providing maximum personal attention to the client and understanding his needs.
